Bruggink, Donald J. (Western Theological Seminary (Holland, Michigan), 1984)
Franz Fueg, architect. The building of this church was approved by a vote of the people of Meggen by a two-thirds majority. It sits on the crest of a small hill overlooking the town and Lake Lucerne.

Reserved host and altar table 

Bruggink, Donald J. (Western Theological Seminary (Holland, Michigan), 1984)
The liturgical architectural dicta of Vatican II concerting a separate chapel for the reserved host had not impacted Fueg's church in its design phase. The table and pulpit reflect the austere steel framing of the church.
