MetadataShow full item record
This dissertation offers an interview tool to help congregational leaders identify, draw out, and nurture Eph. 4:11 Equipping Leaders in order to prepare Christians for works of service (Eph. 4:12). This interview tool is an adaptation of Behavior Based Interviewing, which is a method developed by human resource management theorists for assessing candidates for employment. The two disciplines of theology and social science are combined to provide a mentoring assessment tool for identifying apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers so they can be developed into a synergistic leadership team that will equip the saints for ministry. Included are chapters that give an explanation of Behavior Based Interviewing, training for use of the interviews, the questions and forms for conducting the interviews, forms and suggestions for evaluation and sharing of the results, and theological and biblical support for this approach.
