The stained glass window on the wall above pulpit and table is at the height of the former Zuider Zee. This serves as a reminder of God's providence in providing this fertile land for farming, reclaimed from the sea. The use of height receives yet another treatment in the lowered space given to the congregation over against the slightly raised platform for table and pulpit.
