Abstract

The simple marble pulpit with three legs and a flat surface offers a visually distinct entity for proclamation. The altar/table while a solid block of marble nonetheless has an elegantly incised table on its frontal complete with baskets of bread and goblets of wine as well as a cross and a fish recalling not only Jesus' miracles but also the Greek acrostic for Jesus Christ, God's Son Savior.
