Yodobashi church, Tokyo
Akiro Inadomi, architect. Located in a busy commercial Tokyo setting, the church maintains its distinctiveness in the midst of a larger setting.
Church entrance
At the street corner of the pool is the entry to the church, where Inadomi again uses the form of a fish for door pulls.
Exterior of the great worship room
Across the entry pool is the gently arched window leading into the main worship room. The interior ceiling structure gives its contours to the external roof.
A calming pool before the opportunity to worship
Across the pool one can see the liturgical center on the far side of the great worship room.
